Excellent experience overall. Sharp space, if a little claustrophobic, but that kind of adds to the experience. Staff was helpful but not overly chatty or involved, more of a means to the food. And the food! Wow. The Biscuit and butter, steak, scallops, sprouts, ice cream. Each dish was phenomenal. If you can get a reservation, you most certainly won't be disappointed.
A fantastic soundtrack scores dynamic plates, decent service, and an extensive wine list. The cocktail list is surprisingly succinct but thoughtful. Meat and vegetables are treated as equals, but it’s the surprising and inventive flavor combinations that make each dish shine. I’d say it’s worth 80% of the hype!
Great food. Wonderful wines by the glass and very knowledgeable and kind service. The space was so cozy on a freezing day. Be weary of their names for pastas. They went rogue a bit there
This was my second time visiting in two years, and I'm impressed by the consistency of the food with each visit. As others have noted, each dish is carefully thought out and well executed. The 'pici' was our favorite, we had it during our first visit with bacon and this time without, both times it tasted amazing. Do note that it's tight quarters in there and not particularly intimate. Overall though, really enjoyable and highly recommended.
Easily the best meal of 2018. Each dish was carefully thought out and executed. From the Uni shooter; lobster pasta, to the ice cream. Not a bad dish there. Waitress recommended 4 dishes, we probably got 7. The chefs table is a special experience and would like to try out the patio as well. Reservations are hard to get, but well worth the wait.
