Golden Nugget Pancake House

Golden Nugget is an old fashioned pancake breakfast house. This chain has been around for at least 30 years and there is a reason. The food is old fashioned good. Not great but reliably and consistently good. Across the board...not gourmet coffee, but okay. Not free range eggs but omelettes are good. It's kind of like comparing a fancy high end Italian restaurant vs an old style mom and pop Italian restaurant. Sometimes you just want spaghetti. So when it comeseto breakfasts, Golden Nugget serves up a pretty good one.

The waitress was very kind, and seemed to do a lot of work in the restaurant. We ordered pancakes (OREO, and strawberry). They really did use fresh strawberries on top of the pancakes! And the OREO pancakes were good too. The food was very filling and wasn't too expensive. Would love to come again, to try a different food item.

Coming here late at night with friends was perfect! Not too crowded but not too empty, and the food didn't take that long either. Fabulous amount of food if you get an omelet with the pancakes.

It's the best. All fresh ingredients used made when ordered so definitely worth the price. Such a great place for late night food before you go home and pass out. Fun environment.

I love a good diner. They have an expansive menu. Breakfast is so delicious here! The waffles are SO good! It will be hard to try other menu items. Eggs and bacon are always perfectly cooked, coffee is abundant and the staff is friendly!
