Great tasting food! Not as many vegetarian/vegan options but great seafood! A little pricey but yummy! Wish there were more non-tequila drink options but good mocktails I modified. The staff is nice and the vibes are cool. Would go back
Diego lives up to all it's hype! The drinks are creative and the food I'd delicious! We ordered the well known tuna tostada which has got alot of hype as the best tuna tostada and I can see why. The other tostada (shrimp y mac) was also very good. We also tried the burger and it was zesty and yummy. We also loved our server! She was very nice and gave great recommendations.
One of the better restaurants to grace the neighborhood! Such great vibe with great food and service! The team there has been incredibly welcoming since the very beginning. Not to mention I now crave the ceviche and the tostada. I wouldn’t consider myself a lover of raw fish, but if you’re gonna start, this is no doubt the best place to do it. Every time I’m there, the staff does regular check in's at our table. I can’t wait to watch Diego grow. I LOVE that they have a DJ, it just brings some liveliness to the area! Chef Stephen, keep doing what you’re doing! Shout out to Jordyn who is always so nice and welcoming when I come in!
The limited time octopus and chorizo taco melts in your mouth.
Shrimp and queso taco was tasty, crispy cheese taste.
The steak in the burrito could've been softer.
Service was very attentive. Maybe a lil too quick on picking up the plates before had properly finished
Music is a little loud, but you can totally talk in there. Good music.
Was in San Diego last fall and this restaurant encapsulates the city so well in both its atmosphere, menu and overall aesthetic. Staff were some of the most hip, welcoming, and genuinely excited I’ve seen. Food was utterly delicious and in true San Diego style a little more expensive than what you pay for. Overall would make for a great date night spot. I’d recommend the steak burrito and the chips!
