    Great Meat Dishes. Beautiful interior... but FAKE PLANTS?! Come on! Its 2021. And you're downtown. Desert was also ok...

    Saying the food and atmosphere were great doesn’t seem enough, great restaurant, truly exceptional staff.

    Fully enjoyed our dinner at El Che in Chicago. Staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Had an amazing encounter with the chef who explained their elaborate grilling set up that was open to the dining room. Dinner was delicious with interesting menu options and all cooked to perfection. Would go back there next time i visit for sure.

    Leigh, our waitress, was terrific! She expertly guided us through the menu. The swordfish, steak and quail were all delicious. We especially loved the sides of broccoli, squash and olives. The dessert--shortbread cookies with gelato--was yummy! The hostess was very friendly, as were all employees. We sat at a hightop in the bar area and loved it. Thanks for a great evening!
