This place is excellent. They make a top tier Chicago Italian restaurant feel like a small old school classic. All the staff are really cool, too. Ian in the kitchen answered the phone, helped me find a seat at the bar, and even called me when he saw there was a cancellation for the night of. The hostess is super friendly, as are all of the servers. The food… second to none. With all the hype over the new fancy interior Italian restaurants in Chicago, you won’t find better food anywhere outside of Elina’s. I go out to dinner 2 or 3 times a week and try new places, but I went back to Elina’s a week after I tried it; it’s that great. This is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in the city.
Intimate and homey atmosphere. The food is outstanding. Would highly recommend this perfect niche in West town. Be sure to reserve your perfect spot!
From the moment you walk in you feel at home.
Wonderful atmosphere starting with great music. Started with the most amazing Focaccia bread - then a Caesar Salad that from the moment you took your first bite - Wow!! Had the opportunity to share several entrees with friends- couldn’t decide which one was better than the other! They all offered a unique taste that wanted you to want more. ❤️ My new favorite place.
My new favorite Italian spot in Chicago, homey with great service and outstanding food. Tried the chopped salad, rigatoni vodka, crab pasta, cherry pepper ribs, & mozzarella sandwich - all the flavors were great. One thing I enjoyed was that nothing was salty, a lot of Italian restaurants have this issue but the food tasted perfectly. They also start the meal with a sampler of salami, pickled tomatoes, and focaccia / garlic bread. Restaurant is also BYOB, another nice touch to an awesome experience.
Wow! Had a great time here. We loved every dish. I’m picky about restaurant food because you are paying good money so I think the food should be great and Elina’s didn’t disappoint. This place is new so the staff is still coming up to speed on some service details but they were super friendly and attentive. Don’t forget - it’s BYOB! Another plus in my book.
