Ever Restaurant

Best dining experience I’ve ever had. Creative, delicious, unique, spectacle, relaxed, private yet constantly being attended to. At some restaurants of a similar price point I feel constantly watched and it makes it feel like my conversation with my wife has an audience and I must whisper. Each bathroom is a unique experience :)

An amazing experience!!! Chef Duffy has created an incredible restaurant and delivered a culinary experience without compare. Definitely enjoy the wine pairing. Perfection!

Similar to what other reviewers have noted, when you dive into a fine dining experience you expect to be wowed by presentation, ingredient rarity, and the artistic dance of it all. I have had fine dining experiences where I've enjoyed the journey, but left still hungry or without a desire to have a dish again. Ever turned fine dining on its head for me. Every dish was incredible in all of the ways you'd want--satisfying, flavorful, complex, intentional, stunning. It was a special treat for us to go (though, as others have said, pricing is transparent), and I'm glad we did. Also, when you go in dead of winter (early February) to a seasonal restaurant, and it still blows you away--that is a true measure of skill & craft. Loved the Japanese influence of the menu. All of the staff were so attentive and kind as well.

This is the best dining experience and food I’ve *ever* had. I keep coming back and am always impressed - from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, it hits perfectly on all points. I’ve eaten at Michelin starred restaurants around the world, and Ever still stands out as my favorite. You can see all of the hard work and brilliance from Chef Curtis Duffy and Michael Muser and their team completely pay off in this experience.

Pros:
Food - Incredibly delicious, unique flavors, beautiful presentation
Service - Not only does it hit all of the fine dining service marks, but everyone in the restaurant loves being there and presenting the experience to you. They really do make the experience special.
Atmosphere - Every detail is thought through. Be sure to hit the restroom.

Also the wine tastings are an absolute blast - highly recommend! Michael Muser is an absolute blast and you’ll definitely have a great time.

Best restaurant in Chicago!

Really enjoyed coming here. The food tasted great and was very creative. The non alcoholic pairing was also excellent. The service was 3 Michelin star level, with a few tiny errors: a waiter poured sparkling water when I was drinking still, a napkin was once not replaced, and two of the drinks in the pairing were swapped. Overall a top notch experience and I am sure this restaurant will gain the 3rd star soon
