Nice, airy indoor space. Adorable patio. Service friendly and pretty decent for a busy Sunday. Food is modern twist on standard fare. Burgers, po'boys, salads. Interesting. Glad I came. Not sure if I would go back.
We have been to Jerry's many times and are never disappointed. The beer selection and drink selection is huge! Food is always good. This time we were there for lunch and got to sit outside. I had the Veggie Egg Sandwich with a grilled portobello mushroom. It was so good. Can't wait to go back.
6 of us sat outside for dinner on the patio this past Friday. It was the first time we had all been out since being completely vaccinated and we were all excited to get out in the sunshine. It was a great experience! I arrived about 20 minutes before the reservation and I was the first of the group, but they still sat me about 10 minutes before the reservation and brought out waters before any of the rest of the group arrived. I'm used to places in Chicago basically ignoring you until the time of your reservation or until the whole party is there so that was really appreciated!
The food was great (corndogs and cheese curds for appetizers, and I had the George F sandwich--very good!) and I had a great cocktail for a hot summer night. The waiter was clearly running around for a lot of tables but he was always very genuine and nice, checking on the table multiple times. Overall, we stayed for several hours. They have a great patio, there was some live music for part of the time and lots of activity for people watching.
10/10 can't wait to eat there again!
Great hospitality in a desirable outdoor pedestrian only street. Good beer selections covering a variety of styles. The wine we got, Albariño, was just average. We only got appetizers and they were fine for a quick bite but nothing special. There was no sense of a careful chef creator; more of a what can be made simply and consistently by line cooks
The food is tasty and service here is awesome! Food has very fresh ingredients and perfect portions. Service is very friendly and welcoming. I love that they are dog friendly! They provided a bowl of water for our dog and showered him in treats. Always greeting him whenever they passed by and also when checking in with our table. Great location.
