Sweet Cafe

My family and I had a great experience at Sweet Cafe. The food, decor and service were exceptional. Don't skip the creme brulee French toast. It was amazing. My father in law said it was the best breakfast he's had in 60 years. Can't wait to go back 👍🏼

I have been driving past this spot for the last couple years, down Higgins, on my way to work everyday and have seen how much work, energy and time the owners have put into updating and designing this space for Sweet Cafe! The wait has been worth it- what a great new breakfast spot in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. Sunlight filled space, excellent service and an extensive brunch, breakfast/lunch menu. Meat Lover Skillet did not disappoint! Fluffy pancakes as a side. The place was packed the entire time my friend and I were there, yet food came out quickly and coffee was always refilled. Seems like a great server staff and they all work together to run food, bus tables and checks on customers. I’ll be back. The only thing I thought was weird was that the menu doesn’t offer any simple breakfast combinations, I.e 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 pancakes, and so on. Otherwise awesome spot!

This was a great experience. The atmosphere was great and the service was to. I am a person who's experience is largely influenced by the service and this did not disappoint. Our waitress was very personable and made sure we has a pleasant experience. She's the one from Costa Rica, if you go their.

The food was very good. I had the steak and eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly as I ordered.

I hope they keep up the quality of service because if they do, I've found my new regular breakfast spot.

The long awaited Sweet Cafe opened! Cute, quaint, breakfast spot. Friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere was busy, and bright. All in all, a wonderful experience. And, we look forward to many breakfasts/ brunches here!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sweet Cafe, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere captivated us with its bright and airy ambiance, thanks to the abundance of windows that flooded the space with natural light.

Our server, Abigail, immediately made us feel welcome with her warm demeanor and attentive service. She guided us through the menu with expertise, offering fantastic recommendations that ultimately enhanced our dining experience.

As for the food, it was nothing short of extraordinary. I opted for the Meat Lover Skillet, and every component was cooked to perfection. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the generous portions left us thoroughly satisfied.

Overall, dining at Sweet Cafe was a delight, and I can't wait to return with my family. From the impeccable service to the delectable cuisine and inviting atmosphere, this restaurant exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
