Velvet Taco

We had lunch here for the first time. We liked it so much we ordered dinner delivery too! You can get a few traditional tacos but the fun of this place is trying all the unique recipes. Example-The fish and chips taco takes your typical fried fish taco and adds mini French fries inside! Yum. All fresh and flavorful.

I will go to this restaurant every time I am in Chicago. The BEST! I love the food, service, and staff. My daughter introduced me to this restaurant and must stop every time.

VELVET TACO Definitely worth a visit. Came to dine in on a busy Saturday night. The 1st level was jam packed with a vibrant diverse crowd,but upstairs was empty. Ordered from our table and within 15 minutes had flavorful yummy tacos to try. They have a variety to choose from, no one will be disappointed from the vegan to the carnivore. We also ordered the queso and signed up. I assume they ran out.. just a reason for me to come back which I definitely will. Try it !

Definitely a good late night find. Glad they stay open late to go and enjoy tacos after spending some time out having drinks. Nachos are worth getting. The flavor is delectable.

Had the chicken and waffle taco, the Korean fried rice taco, and the crisp tots and local egg (picture was taken after I broke the yolk). Everything came out quickly and it was all delicious. It also paired nicely with the ranch water. They have a unique selection and we're looking forward to going back
