Delicious udon. I usually get tonkotsu, just like with ramen.
I've been here twice. The service is always quick & friendly, though the food is meh. The udon is supposedly house-made, though I don't taste a difference between this & the frozen stuff. It's nice that they offer different sizes & tempura is buffet-style. You can buy as much or as little food as you like.
Love that there is a selection of tempura that you can pick and choose as you please without required to buy a bowl of udon. This serves us well as we like to try different things in the food court but still want a few tempura.
Service. Quick and friendly.
Food. Great tempura and a variety of sauces to match, quick you can select on the side.
This is one of my favorite places to get Japanese food in the whole US.
It's hard to find both udon and Japanese-style curry, so luckily for me they serve both. The udon (both hot and cold) is high-quality and inexpensive, and the curry has some interesting elements like lotus root and sweet potato. One could also have an entire meal made from the delicious tempura they offer - the pumpkin is the best but I'm loving their limited-time banana tempura as well.
I always end up with a huge meal for around $11/person and can't wait to come back.
