Fabulous place for Korean. What I really like about his place (maybe because it is close to Northwestern), is it is very vegetarian friendly. Most Korean places will have very few items; so there is never a choice. Here almost every category of dishes has a vegetarian option. I would stay away from the Ramen here, as it kinda stinks compared to the other stuff. My go to here is SunDobu. It is fantastic. I have had the Bibimbap, the fried rice, the Ramen, (all vegetarian); but the one standout is this. It is Nuclear hot and makes you sweat and makes work after Lunch a little less of a chore.
So for being vegetarian friendly; a salaam from this eater.
Good food (esp. the fried chicken—highly recommend). However, service could be improved substantially: when all dishes were just brought out, the waiter immediately brought the check to us. The restaurant was filling up but there’s still empty table at that time. We may order for take-out but may think twice before coming back to dine-in.
I go here twice a month - it’s just soooooo good!
I've been here a few times and sampled different dishes, with mixed results. The spicy Yukgaejang soup was really good, but the short rib soup was underwhelming. The ramen is pretty good. Well worth a try though, the food seems very authentic and mostly tasty.
