“I took my daughter here for a fast order but the place was bogged down by one of those customers that think they are the only people that matter. She was a regular and the only customer ahead of us and seemed to want to climb over the counter and make her own food. The two girls working were so sweet yet assertive with this customer that I could not get mad about waiting to give our order. They took excellent care while making my daughter’s food. My daughter loved the chips and guacamole. Place was clean, daughter said food was good, and again, the workers were so impressive, I have to say it is top notch.”

The moment I walked into this bar, the staff was extremely friendly and treated me as if I was a regular. Bartlett Tap had prompt service and a TON of appealing foods to choose from. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner of the bar John when I went. He was extremely down to earth and easy to talk to! You can tell how passionate he is about his company! John goes out of the way for his customers to have a wholesome experience which is something most companies fail to do. Help support small businesses and give this place a try! What is the incentive of reaching a higher level as a local guide? Could it be just ego? Or just the desire of being appreciated? “The place was good. Quiet (went during lunch time) and service was quick. Sat at the bar with my brother, had a few drinks, and ate a slice of sausage pizza. The portion was big. The draft beer was cold, and the wings my brother had were good. Plenty of meat on the wings. The service was good. The lady behind the bar kept our drinks filled and always made sure we were good or if we needed anything else. I definitely wouldn't mind returning here. Plus, the lunchtime show of the Elgin Police Department arresting a guy and searching his car was quite the entertainment.”

“Decent food for a decent price. Friendly staff and, and clean restaurant. Fires are a bit under-salted and a little soggy. Their Vienna beef Hotdogs are just as good as Portillo's. Their hot wing sauce is more akin to "very hot BBQ sauce" or "very sweet hot sauce" I appreciate the heat but not the flavor. Still a very fine restaurant.”
