“Simply an amazing experience. We stumbled across this location as my daughter was in a seafood mood. What a wonderful experience. The decor was what you would normally expect from seefood restaurants, but that was the only thing normal about our experience. The service was outstanding as our attendant was attentive and provided answers to all of our questions. The food itself was so tasty that although I eas only able to try a couple of pieces of the items that I ordered, they were good enough to earn my coveted "Certified Mad Good" rating. Best coconut shrimp in town and their wings were both cruspy and flavorful. I hear they have a few locations around town, but if in the area, you can't go wrong with this location.”

“First time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken! We went to the drive through for our order. The very very kind gal on the intercom taking orders was amazing and needs to be appreciated for her amazing work. I heard her help the customer in front of us and behind us with the same level of enthusiasm. Ordering the food was very easy and straight forward. I did not feel over whelmed with a huge menu. When we got home the food was still very warm. The food was amazing!! The quality of the chicken was amazing. The chicken was super moist and juicy with just the right amount of breading and spice. They fries were crispy and fluffy on the inside with a perfect amount of seasoning. The sauce was delicious. The pickles on the side were a nice treat. We ordered cheese fries and were left wishing there was more cheese on them. We also tried the Mac and cheese and that was amazing. Definitely very satisfied with the overall experience of this dinner. Thank you.”

“I stop by here on my way to work most mornings to get coffee for a guy who starts work nearby before you open. Today was memorable - the drive through was attended by Maggie. Wow, just a quick friendly conversation changes a routine transaction into a joyful great way to start the day. I delivered his Coffee a few minutes later when I arrived at work. My friend took a swig and commented " The coffee is really good today!" Nice Job Starbucks Melrose park. I also like when I pull up and Nia knows my order. You can retract your seat like a couch, and you can even make your back and bottom warm however you want! Normal, warm, and hot. “Awesome. We had asked a few men at Tom's auto where we should go they recommended it to us. I had spicy pork taco salad and my husband had the giant burrito and both were delicious. The sheer proportion of food you receive is insane. So dont let your eyes fool your stomachs. Lol it's awesome service was excellent I got a papiya milkshake at the end for the road and it's amazing I'd just wished I'd of ordered it with my meal the sweet of the shake with our spicy food would of been a pleasant combo.”

“I come all the way from downtown Chicago just to eat here, the staff make you feel at home. The gyro burger is ome of my favorite meals here, the prices are fair the place is cleaner than most other places I've been to everything is nice and clean organized here the food is great smells good the staff is amazing and the young lady who served me my food beautiful beautiful woman she knows what she's doing smart intelligent and likes to get things done. I'm still coming to Firehouse Chicago style is worth my two-hour Drive it's totally worth it I love the food here love the staff love the people and the service is just amazing I give this place 10 out of 10 I want to give it more cause it's just so great. Just come here for Evette just come for her she knows what she's doing and she gets things done.”

Tho I had a long wait for the check and couple of food issues Hence the 3 stars. Ordered chicken fried steak and eggs with well done crispy hash browns. Food came out quickly. I did immediately notice hash browns nowhere near how they were ordered. Ordered an omelet to go, asked that it not be over cooked (NO brown) it was all over brown. I was very disappointed this was not noticed by the waitress before bringing me the plate or packing to go box. All said, the food I did eat was delicious the omelet, (HATE OVER COOKED EGGS) went uneaten. I will be back with my husband next time to give it one more try on getting my order right, and upping the star rating. UPDATE. Second times the charm!! Excellent food, awesome service, no complaints.”
