“Very good, but feels very small. Portions are good sized and the coffee isn't that burnt stuff that's become popular in other places. Northfield serves typical diner fare, and in a rare move, leads the menu off with lunch food instead of breakfast items (back page). At peak, you'll wait about 15-20 minutes to get a table. The knock on this place is that there's really no place to wait where you're not in the way. The wait staff know everyone who comes in, a sign that there are many regulars.”

“Let's call it gourmet taco's. Meat is perfectly cooked and then the taco is loaded! Even the basic beef taco punches you in the mouth with flavor! Went for the El Pastor and tried a few others. Small little joint. But fantastic for a quick bit!”

“Was one of my favorite places for Chicago-Style Deep Dish pizza, but was often hit or miss, particularly with delivery. Had one pizza where the toppings were half off the bottom. Just so, it has been closed for about a year now. Would love to see it reopened by one of the other area Viccinos owners. Their pizzas are just as good and tend to arrive intact.”

“I have not yet Google-reviewed this place? Shame on me! I come here pretty often. It's like the local fast food version of "Cheers" - once you are there they know you. The staff is awesome here, and the food is great. And if anyone complains about prices being high - it's the North Shore, everything's expensive here! Plus I can legitimately say I enjoy coming here. It's not just about the food.”
