This was my first time eating at the restaurant. Normally, I get takeout. To get it fresh off, the grill was a pretty good experience.

New restaurant in Skokie! Had the carne asada taco dinner. Very good Mexican cuisine. Verde Avocado took over the previous Crave Kabob restaurant. Not much in the way of interior updates. Still plenty of seating and restaurant is clean. Menu is great. I will be back.
Clean inside. Food was good. Prices and portions are on point. Guacamole was fresh, chicken mole enchiladas were spicy. I got a burrito suizo. My parents found them on Facebook.
Try this restaurant!! We had a great first experience here for dinner last night. They have an expansive menu, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything we tried was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed both salsas that were served with the chips before the meal. Highly recommend, and I can’t wait to return!
Best Mexican takeout we have had in a while! We ordered a steak tacos dinner and 2 additional Chile Rellenos tacos. The counter woman/server was prompt to take our order and nice. She checked on the gluten content with the kitchen before I ordered. We waited about 5 minutes in the spacious dining area while our order was prepared. The order came out hot and well-packaged. I do wish they had sustainable packaging instead of styrofoam, but that is my only negative, and applies to most places. The steak was juicy, tender and plentiful. No skimping here! The tacos included fresh corn tortillas, onion, and lots of fresh cilantro. The included sauces tasted homemade. There was both green and red, with the red being much spicier. I did not taste the other tacos due to gluten, but my hubby loved them. The rice and beans were are fresh and tasty as well. Give this place a try!
