Montira Thai Restaurant

Apparently the restaurant closed for a bit and reopened with a new menu including Japanese food. Since my family enjoys eating Japanese food and the Glen is close by, we decided to try it out. I'm glad we did because the food was really delicious. I went with my aunt and little sister. Between us we ordered a couple rolls (spicy salmon maki and sunset are the ones pictured), salmon teriyaki, and sea bass sashimi with yuzu and jalapeno.

The salmon teriyaki was really tender, but I think the sunset roll was my personal favorite (I'm a fan of eel). Their lemonade is cool too and turns from blue to purple, which they do in front of you. For dessert we had a green tea brownie which was absolutely amazing. It's a bit expensive, but considering the location in the Glen, it's not any more so than the other options around there. If you're around the area, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. My family is definitely going back.

chicken satay was delicious. rice was cooked perfectly, also delicious. owner was very sweet and friendly. Unlike some other thai restaurants in the area. interior was beautiful and extremely clean. thank you!~~will be back :)

Have spend considerable time in Thailand and love Thai food. The food is excellent and some of the best Thai food in the suburbs. Charming husband/ wife team that owns the restaurant. Great food for the value.

The food had amazing flavor, one of the best Thai places I have ever had! Definitely coming back again. Perfect portions and the staff is very welcoming. Had no problem with any slow service, our food was ready almost instantly. I also highly recommend having the Thai tea, very delicious.
