Tavern on The Glen

Absolutely amazing restaurant in The Glen. Exactly what this area needed!! I ordered the mushroom pappardelle and it was perfectly al dente and the truffle oil in it was an incredible touch.

I also ordered the cosmo kramer but finished it (along with my second one) before I even got to snap a pic. The prickly pear takes the cosmo to a whole other level.

Everything was so good! Started with Calamari, mussels, and eggplant stack. All the ingredients were fresh and flavors wonderful. We had the New York and skirt steaks that were cooked and seasoned perfect. Ended with a yummy carrot cake. The owner Teddy was welcoming and so kind. Definitely will be going back!!

The food, music, staff & atmosphere is like nothing I have experienced before, the glen has needed a gem like this for years and finally has found one. I cannot wait to RSVP for holidays to bring friends and family by to show off some of the best food Chicago has to offer , will be a reoccurring customer.

This is the restaurant that the Glen needed! The atmosphere and service is fantastic, food is delectable, and whoever created the cocktail menu is an absolute genius! I never save room for dessert, but I could not pass up one of the dessert drinks. I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Will definitely be back ASAP! Thank you Ted!!!

Tavern of The Glen exceeded my expectations! The food was truly amazing, and their cocktail menu is simply awesome. The variety on their spirits menu is unreal. I'll definitely be recommending this spot to all my friends and family. And let's not forget Ted - his service was beyond great. Already counting down the days until my next visit!
