(August 26, 2018, 3:20 am)A nice old family place to kick back and enjoy a fine summer evening outside with a "twist" ice cream cone, a malt, sundae or root beer float. This sort of place is pretty common in small rural towns, but it is a rare find right on Cermak Road!

(July 13, 2018, 12:34 am)The atmosphere is nice but the menu is limited. I was expecting hand packed ice cream but they only had soft serve. I guess that's not there fault. There is a place in Flint, Michigan called The Banana Boat and it is almost identical to this place, only open in the summer, in a neighborhood setting with picnic tables but the only difference is they ONLY sell hand packed ice cream, shakes, banana splits and all the sweet stuff so I think I was just looking for more of that.
