Omega Restaurant

Great visit....first time at this Omega location. Food was good but not the same as the original Omega in Downer's Grove from years ago....hey, nothing lasts forever..ask George S.....Too many differences to list, but overall this place is still better than your normal snackshop/diner. George S's Omega legacy lives on......hopefully these owners will be able to keep it open.

This is our go-to restaurant. The place is always busy because they have great food, good prices, and pleasant staff. With a fairly substantial menu, Omega stands out as one of the better local restaurants here in Schaumburg. Open on Sundays too.

FOOD is Always FRESH ! LARGE portions. FAMILY OWNED & Operated. They take all my money. COZY Atmosphere that my family of 4 loves. . .

Usually this place is really great with service and the quality along with quantity of food. About a month ago I ordered the Nutella crepes. When I called to order take out, I specifically asked if the fruit that came inside the crepes were fresh. The lady taking my order responded, "yes, all of the fruit is fresh". When my husband came home with the food I opened the crepes to check. There were slimy brownish strawberries and almost black bananas in the crepes. I was really upset just because I specifically had asked about the fruit. I ended up taking out all the fruit and taking a picture.

Even though everything else has been good from here, I don't think i will ever order the crepes.
