“I love the food here, especially the minestrone soup. But I haven’t been able to go to Barone’s for awhile now because they do not have a baby changing table. Last time I was there, my 8 month old stuffed her face which resulted in her having to have her diaper changed. I walked in, didn’t find a changing table and then asked the hostess if I was missing something and just didn’t see it. She said they don’t have one and that I could use the sink to change her and kind of had an attitude about it. The useable area on the sink would’ve been difficult to change a newborn, let alone an active 8 month old. She was easily able to reach up and turn the water on which made changing her even more difficult. I get that it is an older restaurant, but I have seen plenty of old restaurants with changing tables. They also have a blank wall that one would fit on if they took out the stalling that surrounds the one toilet that they have in the bathroom and just make it a single bathroom. It’s time to invest some money in a bathroom remodel and get with the times!”

“My favorite alternative to fast food. Grilled burgers are great, great bang-for-your buck. Way better quality than national chains, and IMO they have the best beef sandwiches in the area- great Italian sausage/combo sandwiches too. Wide variety on menu; biggest plus in my book is they grill burgers, chicken etc rather than fry it. Beats the heck out of the usual fast food options by a mile & burgers are way better- and amazingly- less expensive than the national chains!”

“I come from a Ukrainian and Polish background, so this is my kind of comfort food. Most of the food is not exactly what I grew up with, but their potato-and-cheese pierogi are very much like my mom's. Be sure to ask for sour cream to go with these bacon-topped delights. When we were there celebrating my husband's birthday, the waitresses sang and brought him a surprise plate of cake with a gorgeous presentation of drizzled sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, and a big fanned out strawberry--si sweet!”
