“Hardee's restaurants have come and gone in the Chicago market a few times during my lifetime. Though I have had mixed feelings about Hardee's over the years; my recent visit here was excellent. Firstly; the restaurant was very clean and the crewmember who waited on us was very pleasant. We both ordered the Big Hot Ham and Cheese combo because we had a coupon. Seldom do I rave about a sandwich; but wow, this one was excellent. It was an experience that did not disappoint; loaded with ham and topped with (processed?) Swiss cheese. The cheese was melted so the flavor blended nicely with the ham. The French fries were French fries; I don't particularly care for French fries but they came with the meal. Being diabetic, I would be curious if I could have substituted for something else; but did not inquire. Overall, this place is a very nice alternative to the other fast food restaurants in the area.”

“Every time I have gone there except for the past three times, I've been missing something from my order. The food is great and it's always piping-hot. I'm always knowing and assured that I can get my food fresh here. But maybe things are working out finally. And I was always missing a fry. Nothing else but fries. And that's the best part of the meal! But they are getting better. and every time I've talked to them about it, they've always corrected it. So I'm really glad that they were able to do that.”

“It's worth a try if you're in the Sycamore area and you love soul food. Certain food items were delicious, certain food items were over cooked and certain items had no taste at all. The food portions are small and it's pretty costly to eat here, but you have to judge for yourself. It's a new restaurant in town and I'm holding out that this is just a learning curve. The prices will come down or the food portions will increase to match the price tag.”

“If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it! Rooms are clean and comfortable, above our expectations. Larry at the front desk is a real gem. He was delightful on the phone and even better in person. Totally worth the money. Close to NIU but located in the much safer Sycamore. Worth the 10 extra minutes for parents that don’t want to be in the mix of college students. Will definitely keep this in my favorites. Thanks for a great night sleep.
