“This place is awesome! Nice change to the super heavy dense pizzas everywhere else focuses on. The flavors and balance of crust vs toppings is spectacular. My new favorite pizza place!”

“I recently placed a catering order at this Firehouse Subs. I did it on a recommendation from a friend and took a chance. I am glad I did! Jim, the owner, was very helpful with how much to order and he was right on. The delivery was right on time, even through the ice and snow, and the subs were delicious! The were easy to serve in their labeled boxes and the meat portion was substantial. I had lots of compliments, and for sure, I will order again from Firehouse Subs. Thank you, Jim.”

“Always top notch customer service! Super friendly! I was eating their pizza, which was really good, until I went on a diet and had to sadly stop. Since I go with several people from work, instead of pizza, I started eating their salads. They have a chicken cesar salad that is fantastic. I really didn’t think I would be happy with a salad, but I was surprised. They’re really good and the croutons are delicious! The chicken has a good flavor. Highly recommend it all; pizza or chicken cesar salads!”

“Gotta be honest, Domino's has really stepped up their game of late. A few years ago wouldn't have even considered it for pizza. Not to mention FREE PIZZAS!! ????????????”

“Best Chinese food in the area. I live a fair distance from there, but when I do get take out, I drive 40 minutes to get it here. The dining in experience is also fantastic. We dined in this time and talked with an old friend for over an hour before ordering and the staff never made us feel rushed at all. They were polite and friendly the whole time we were there. Fortunately, it was not too busy. I recommend them highly.”

“In my opinion...this is the best pizza in Aurora. Very affordable and delicious. The sauce they use for their pizza is just right. Not too overwhelming. I loved coming here on my breaks when I worked in the area. I always stop by when I get a chance. Excellent customer service. This place is awesome.”

“They are so fast, they delivered my sandwich ten minutes before I ordered it. They must be able to read minds. Seriously, they are so fast, I swear they must make the sandwich on way here. Great quality and value. This particular location does a great job. I have ordered dozens of times from them and never ever had a complaint. Perfect every time.”

“The lunch buffet is amazing. I love this place, such a great local business with great service and delicious food. Highly, highly recommend. And it’s not a chain- always refreshing in Naperville (every restaurant is a stupid chain).”

“Clean place. Polite staff. Food is meh. Had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were bland like they were frozen out of a box. Had ravioli for dinner and they were good. I will ask for the sauce on the side next time because there was so much sauce it was hard to taste the ravioli.”

“Pizza was great. The sauce was more sweet than acidic. We really enjoyed the pizza, we had not been in for quite a while. The two kids really liked the small individual pizzas which came with a drink and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Would definitely recommend for a good thin crust pizza.”

“I went here because my friends told me it was a real Chicago experience. I have to say that it certainly lived up to their talk. The atmosphere here was lovely. We went on a Thursday and it wasn't crazy busy like we were warned it can be on the weekends. The tables and decor in the restaurant were nice. It wasn't overwhelming like the decor in Portillos. I liked the old firefighters life net they had on the ceiling. It was cool seeing some authentic history from the neighborhood on display. The food was excellent. We got the Lou and a thin crust cheese pizza. Both were very tasty. The crust was crunchy on both, and they have the absolute best tomato sauce I've ever tasted. The desserts were divine, too. We got the trio dessert and the cookie with ice cream was my favorite. It melted in your mouth. My only complaint was that the service to our table was slow. When we arrived, there were people ending their meal at the booth next to us. They left, the booth was bussed, another set of people were seated, and the other people got 3 deep dish pizzas before our food came out. Also, half our order came out before the other half. It was awkward when my friends who got sandwiches had to wait for the pizza to arrive for the rest of us, and their entrees became cold. It was a solid ten minutes from when we got the sandwiches to when the pizza came out, and during that time a booth seated after us also got their food. I'm sure there was some sort of mix up in the kitchen, but they didn't even apologize for the delay and confusion. If it weren't for that gaff, I would have given them five stars. Overall, it was a very nice experience and good food. I'm sure we'll visit Lou's again next time we're in the area.”
