“Located outside of Chicago in the burbs, this hotel is nestled in a well maintained golf course. The hotel was very nice including the lobby, rooms and Conference space. The front desk staff is top notch. The rooms are spacious and bed was very comfortable The restaurants offer a nice menu and the food is very tasty My only complaint was the lack of attention to detail with housekeeping. They didn’t leave wash cloths for example The manager addressed this in a nice way however they definitely need to pay more attention to this in the future”

However since management has changed the atmosphere has gone downhill and I haven't been to this location that often anymore. If they changed the hours back to the original hours that would be great and go back to being able to seat myself instead of having to wait for a table.”

“I really like this place. I always have my son's take me there on Mother's Day. On a day like Mother's Day it is very busy so be sure to make reservations in advance. The food is good and I like the atmosphere. The desserts are decadent and yummy. There is a bar area where you can get a drink if you have to wait awhile. The menu can be pricey especially if you're ordering appetizers and drinks so be prepared.”

“My cousin decided to take our family here for a sort of quick dinner. The pizza was delicious, the thin crust had a slightly crunchy crust but wasn’t over cooked and brittle. The ingredients were of high quality as well. Didn’t get a chance to try their pasta, so we will have to come back for that. We had several toddlers in our group and the staff was very courteous and accommodating. We had one order that was taken in error but the staff took care of it without any objection. Their garlic croissants/knots are very savory as well!”

“I tried the Italian Baked Egg. Contrary to the name,its 2 eggs any style over a savory blend of zucchini, spinach sausage and onions in a marinara sauce. It was both tasty and filling. The pancakes were light and fluffy but the flavor profile was low even for the honey cinnamon pancakes. My son loved the berry waffle. They have the creamiest whipped cream and the apple juice in the glass apple jar was delicious and clever.”

“Sadly, this restaurant is closing at the end of the month. In my opinion this place was the benchmark for all other Italian restaurants in this area. Superb food and peerless service. Our server was Amy and she was one of the best servers I ever had in any restaurant. I'm going to miss this place. I know there are other Stefani restaurants, but this one was on a level line no other. I hope they reopen somewhere soon.”

“On Feb. 2, 2019 I walked in and the first person who approach me was an employee named Johnny. I explain to him what my interest was. He immediately gave me the name of the person I needed to contact for the event. Not only did he inform me in detail, his professionalism was truly one of a kind and then he escorted me around so I can report back to my management team how the facility could accommodate us. The waiters informed me how delicious the food was and asked me if I wanted to sit down for a bit to eat. I sat in the outer area near the heat lights and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and drinks. My waiter Mario was definitely an upscale server. I felt like I was the most important person there. The restrooms were clean and staff was friendly at the door, the bar and at the tables. Business just turned personal, I'll definitely be back with my family.”

“I went to Butcher and the Wok while shopping not to hungry but walking by the line up of food I had to stop. The short rib egg roll was so good along with the homemade sauces I couldnt help but to get 2 more! So yes I I had to try the wood fired veggies and the Mongolian flank steak that did not disappoint. My friend stopped eating her choice ( different establishments food) and helped me finish my multiple meals if you will. We went back the following week not to shop just to eat. Hands down to the staff and whoever created the delicious meals on the incredible menu.”

“I found this place when I wandered into the food court at Oakbrook Mall. I ordered a cauliflower crust ($2.99 extra) pizza with marinara sauce, mozzarella, spinach, red onions and bacon. It came out of the oven hot and crisp. There was no grease evident anywhere. I wasn't that hungry but could not stop eating it because it tasted so good. I'll definitely return.”
