La Mesa Modern Mexican

I love the responses to the Negative comments... and to find out some of these comments are fake???? people really have nothing better to do. This is the original owner that MADE the “OG” restaurant be what it was. The owner of la Mesa is the reason the restaurant still has a name ???? ignore the haters. The restaurant is on its way to success! I just think it’s funny how the bad reviews all bring attention to the restaurant up the street???????????? So good. Remember negative attention is better than no attention. People really out here still trying to attach themselves to your hard work!! I assure you if you have a negative experience the owner will go above and beyond to make it right. GO LA MESA!!!!!

Had the Al Pastor tacos with lettuce wrap and they were so good. Traditional margarita, and quacamole and chips. Everything was really good. Good service, and the place wasn't overly crowded. We were there at an odd time for a late lunch on a Saturday.

Great service, wonderful food, superb atmosphere! Five star experience! I would recommend La Mesa. Excellent place for a date night!

Very good margaritas. We had the jalapeno and cucumber and the traditional as well. Fun place and good food. The wings were very spicey and the Mexican blue cheese was different in a good way. Enjoyed it

Normally don’t post reviews since I’m lazy, but we had such a great dining experience, I wanted to share!

Literally some of the best guacamole ever. (I ended up not sharing it with anyone else at the table.) Also had the steak fajitas which were AMAZING!!! Hearty portions as well. I’m always annoyed when Mexican restaurants only give you a few pieces of steak...

Also enjoyed a strawberry bellarita margarita (or three), which isn’t a drink I’d normally go for, but I’m glad I did. And to top it off, we had a great bartender and attentive waiter. We’ll definitely be back!
