“The services were good. The waitress only asked a few times if we were ready to order. Once we were ready she was patient with us. The food was delivered promptly. The amount of food that you get for the price is good, you don't leave hungry. The atmosphere is nice. The only reason that I marked off one star is the food was not spicy enough. When I ask for my food to be spicy, I expect it to be spicy, otherwise it is worth the price and visit.”

I would give 5 stars but sometimes the pizza is a little over cooked(burnt) and I dislike eating burnt pizza. Obviously I don’t want to make a big deal about it and also I’m afraid to take it back and complain and have one of the cooks spit on it or anything of such thing lol. So I just keep the negative to myself. Anyways, great place to order from but it’s be nice if the workers also were not rude. Pizza is great tho!”

“I'd love to give this place a higher rating, but truthfully... My waiter/bartender may've been having a bad night. When I walked in I asked her about a slice of pizza and she told me it'd take 15 minutes. Okay, I needed to move my car from the 15 minute parking spot anyway. What started off as an optimistic stop at a place I'd never visited became a downhill slide into poor service. The receipt said - who cares - because if your service sucks this bad your name just really isn't worth mentioning. Don't know how long they've been around but if this is what they deliver I expect this place won't be around much longer. Might be time for a bar makeover. Seriously. For a place with this nice a curb appeal, service should be top knotch. That was not my experience. If the sign reads Papa Saverios - Elgin? PASS. Seriously.. The poor service will ruin your vibe. Go to Pequod's instead.”

The portions are usually too much for one sitting which is fine with me because they are still delicious the next day. He smokes his own meats too which make for an incredible BBQ pulled pork sandwich.Treat yourself, you will not be sorry. ***Add - on*** After many years of eating here all I can say it’s it still top notch. “The manager is awesome! She personally double bagged my bagels because it was the end of the day, and she wanted to ensure they would remain fresh the next day. I love this place. “Love the pizza! This place is small and always busy. I think they need to find a way to address when there are too many people. The pizza portal helps, but the line can be around the block and when it's cold it folds in on itself inside the store. I don't really want to go in when I know I'm going to have to make a stand a few times and tell people who is next. Seems like an employee responsibility.”

Of course everything we had at Paul's was delicious and it hit the spot. It's always a pleasure to eat at Paul's, not only is the food good but the staff is so pleasant to deal with. I've never had a bad meal and the staff served coffee immediately as it was going down. You never felt like you were bothering anyone to help you at Paul's Restaurant. And I'll be eating there in the future.”

“I love this place!!!! Great 80’s music with a laid back atmosphere. The manager, Paul went above and beyond... he was creating this amazing cinnamon shake, topped with whip cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Garnished with a mini stack of pancakes and thick maple bacon & drizzled with maple syrup. My girl said that’s looks good and he gave it to us on the house. We ordered the bacon cheese burgers and the plant based burgers as well as the donut sized onion rings. They were all delicious. We even brought back the breakfast burger for my brother to try. I will definitely be back!”
