Christina's Grill & Gatherings

We had a VERY last minute wedding to schedule. I reached out to Allen at Christina’s, he was so easy to deal with and guided us through every detail. Allen and Christina ensured all details were addressed and that it would go exactly as planned. I can’t express how thankful I was. I would recommend this venue for event!

I had my wedding here. Here are the pros:

The natural scenery is beautiful
The food is not the best but it’s affordable
I was allowed to bring in my own catered dessert

Cons:
Hidden fees-I was charged 300 dollars in
credit card processing fees without prior knowledge. Credit card processing fees are common so I’m not complaining but a person should know this before being charged. I was told I could bring my own soft drinks and later charged 1000 dollars for a soft drink package. The taxes and gratuity charges were different than what was on the catering menu I received.

The owner always seems rushed “I have 0.5 seconds to answer your questions” was what Allen once said to me. Stressed out brides and stressed out business owners do not go together.

Not having alcoholic beverages or a cash bar at your event is a problem for the owner

I was told that certain things were included with my wedding package (i.e. decorations, wedding arch, table linens); later when I voiced concern about customer service I was told that these things were not free and the team “bent backward” for me

I was told that after everyone was served, the food would be left out for guest to still enjoy later and packaged up if we wanted to take home. That was not the case.

Very good food. Employees are super nice and when you go for the entertainment it's buzzing. The owners are super awesome and always willing to say hi.

I really wanted to like this place but am only giving it three stars because the staff was so nice. Maybe it's because it was a slow Monday night but the food was just average at best. It tasted like it had been cooked earlier and just reheated. Ending up pay $45 for two hot dogs, a brat, and Italian beef which is on the high end especially for the low quality.
