“Atmosphere was very nice and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, so 5 stars on that count. The beet ( yes, BEET, not beef) burger was tasty but could have been cooked on a slightly lower temperature for a bit longer..outside was nicely crispy but inside was not quite done. The balsamic glaze was excellent. I asked for avocado on the burger but it was bitter and not ripe. They did take it off the bill. Lettuce side salad that came with the burger was only Arugula, no tomatoes, no carrots, no anything. Not very satisfying., though the dressing was tasty. The impossible burger was nicely appointed and tasted fine. Buns on both burgers were dry. We will try Next Door again, however...perhaps try something else. Again, the staff was very nice!”

“Very friendly staff...nice happy hour. Good drinks. My food was a bit of a disappointment. The mushroom soup had no flavor of mushroom, and it had lumps of uncooked flour. I had the pork dinner with the pine nuts dressing. The pork was dry, and the dressing was mushy and had odd seasonings. The veggies with my meal were undercooked. My friend's and I enjoyed the appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and tenderloin kabobs. They especially liked the roasted veggie platter , (which they were generous with, probably due to making up for our soups. )Great atmosphere though. Very good service...”

“I was here a decade ago and I have to say that this place is great. This gets 5 out of 5 stars because the food was great. If I remember correctly, I had a pasta Alfredo. There are also other things I tried out as well as we were there for family gathering. I liked everything on the table though some things are even better than others. It was wonderful to taste some original Italian pizza as well. The service was also very good.”

“My partner and I have been to Porto's two times now and we were very happy with our meal each one. Many of the sauces have a unique lemon flavor. I chose the medium spice level, which is quite spicy. I liked it. As a vegetarian, there are plenty of meatless options and all off them have had generous portion sizes. I ordered my coffee and Sebastian said it would take a minute or two to make a fresh cup which I really appreciated, while the coffee was brewing we had an amazing conversation which made my visit even better . Then they said next time I ask for 2 they will be 35 cents a piece. I just spent 35 bucks on food, just give me the ranch, charge me if you want and let me go. No need for threats. If you didn't want to walk 2 steps to give me the ranch why did you offer? Always, always check your bags before you leave. Make them wait while you look. It's better than bringing 3/4 of happy meals to a bunch of 3 year olds. Good food though. Shamrock shakes are back.”

“Stopped here for lunch with some friends after hearing about it from others. My rueben sandwich was insanely good and my friends had breakfast and they loved their meal. Emanuel was our waiter, he was very attentive. “Sunday was my first time going to Egg Harbor. Our waiter was phenomenal. He gave u. great suggestions from the menu, and when my food took a little longer than my friends to come out of the kitchen, he comped our whole check! I didn't even complain about the wait time, I was too busy chatting with my friend and sipping their delicious tea. The waiter said he didn't want our first experience there to be marred by a long wait for our food. And speaking of food, every single thing was delicious. Their shrimp and grits breakfast is to die for. Grits tasting just as good as in the south! Overall a wonderful experience. 10 out of 10, will go back.”
