“Pretty darn good for a random place in Illinois. As far as sauce quality is concerned this place is good. I had their spiciest sauce, dragon breath I think, and it was indeed spicy and more importantly flavorful. I could really taste the chili used to make the sauce. It was like a chili compote in texture. I also enjoyed one of their sweet mango sauces as well. Definitely unique and definitely worth it if you're in the area. Wings which were fresh and well cooked, as were the parmesan French fries.”

“Three for breakfast. Plenty of parking available on a Sunday morning. Initial greeter was nice, actual server was not the most friendly ( her time to eat over by the bar). It was 9am so everything was nice and clean still. Food was good. Only one of the three orders was incorrect but not worth sending back. Price was in line with the area, three meals and coffee averaged $14.50 plus tip each. We will continue to come back.”

“Popped in for the lunch special after driving by and seeing the Boar’s Head signs. The weekly special was a turkey BLT, and it was delicious and fresh. “Out of the 3 times I’ve been there, the waitresses were all very impolite and weirdly huffy. One even had AirPods in so I couldn’t get her attention. Don’t expect to feel welcome even despite the nice decor. The food is pretty good and a good price point - always hot and crispy and plentiful. That said, it really puts me on edge whenever I choose to dine in. From now on I’ll definitely be doing carry out.”

Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, the best avocado pepperjack burger & onion rings hands down, and of course their famous Rainbow Cone ice cream! I was expecting it to be somewhat chaotic or some of the food to come out wrong (which is normal for a first opening) but Buona exceeded my expectations! Right down to their super clean facilities with a hand dryer on the sink 🙂 and the professional, pleasant management. I know Buona is known for their beef sandwiches, but you have to try a burger! “If you come just use the drive thru. Their focus is on dive thru and inside customers come second. Each time I visit my food takes 5-10 min and my drinks get cooler while waiting. While I see quick moves to support the window the inside space is leftover. They only have a single trash can inside the restaurant so I also take that to mean they don’t want you to stay. Although they have a very comfortable inside space for working, meeting, relaxing with your coffee.”
