High Tea With Gerri

I’ve gone two years in a row with my best friend to celebrate our birthdays and I’ve never felt fancier, girlier, or more lovely! It was just the best experience. The food and tea is absolutely delicious, better than The Drake in Chicago.

Had a birthday party with the girls here. Best afternoon tea you can get outside of downtown and Gerri was so lovely. It had been a while since I had been out with one of my friends and she had a whole new set of food allergies I didn't know about. My friend didn't want to create more work but Gerri was very accommodating! In case you don't have hats for tea time she had plenty there for you! Her food was delicious and handmade with care!

We had a lovely time. The tea sandwiches were delicious and the variety was appealing. Loved the scones with jam, clotted cream and lemon curd. The fruit pastry was flakey and just the right sweetness. The mini "desserts" were the perfect end to the "meal." Gerri's tea blend is flavorful, but not too strong.

Her "shop" is beautifully decorated with "antiques" - linens, tea cups, saucers, pots, "silver," lamps - rich fabric curtains, flowers, hats, old fashioned pictures, and the like. It's totally charming.

Gerri and her staff are attentive, friendly, but allow guests to enjoy a relaxed and unhurried afternoon!

This place was amazing! The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing! We did the four course and it was more then enough food. Highly recommend going! Tea was excellent!
