    I love the rustic decor of the place with those lamps like the Tiffany. The musical events, the food, the good atmosphere, the customer service and the memories on the walls as if it were a small museum. It also has its romantic touch. Of course! I will repeat more times with my dear Jake. ^_^

    The food and service was good. Supposedly the oldest continuously operated tavern in Illinois. Cool location in downtown Long Grove.

    Bartenders and waitress so sweet. Lovely place to go. Food was great too!

    Food wasn't great, chicken too salty and they forgot my dad's side of cottage cheese. Had live music today and it was not good. Great rustic environment and service was good.

    I don't think this place has changed in 150 years. I hope it never does. The food is rich and amazing, the beer is great, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd want if you were climbing out of your carriage for much needed refreshment after a long day of travel.
