“Excellent service! Even better food. We stopped in to celebrate my husband’s first Father’s Day brunch- everything was seasoned to perfection. The potatoes were especially delicious. We were more than satisfied. Our hostess/waitress was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the wines. We loved their push to support local Illinois wineries. They also have a great mix of foreign wines. We’re really looking forward to coming back to try more food and delicious wines. I highly recommend it!”

“The late arrival of food may have been from the grand opening but they have been improving greatly in terms of serving food on time. Cleanliness is a must and this place has made sure that is kept up. Food is a delight and the spice levels are up to my level of flavor. The boba is also fantastic as they have multiple flavors to choose from and it’s always a surprise when I choose a different drink. The reviews regarding the late arrivals should not be of concern as of now. Service is good and their employees are very friendly! Would come again 10/10”

“Great addition to the dining experience of residents of the Chicago northern suburbs. Jameson's Charhouse has filled somewhat of a void of $$ to $$$ type of restaurants in Vernon Hills quite nicely. Cozy atmosphere inside, warmed up by a central fireplace and friendly staff, adds to a convenient street location, with plenty of parking space. The menu is well thought through, with a nice balance of surf and turf dishes, as well as some house specialties: rack of lamb, halibut, and prime rib. The bar is fully stocked and offers a good variety of cocktails, wine, and beer. Speaking of which, do try their own Jameson's blond ale for only $5. You'll ask for a refill in no time, I guarantee.”
