“Honestly, this place is just mediocre at best. I've been here multiple times because it is close to my office. But every time when I order a carry-out they seem to forget that I ordered something or somehow the order just lingers on the counter and I see people who ordered after me walking out with their lunch. Prices are a bit on the high side if you ask me. Their roast beef club is ok but I'd rather go to Potbelly and get a Big Road beef sandwich for the same price. This place doesn't seem to be very busy lately either.”

“Highly recommended!!! i will DEFINITELY give 5 stars for Yu's. i tried almost every dishes on their menu, non of them made so disappoint. Especially this location decoration is very nice and so cozy. If you are planning to go there, i will recommend Mongolian beef, Lollipop chicken wings, Noodle platter, Noodle soup. During lunch hours food comes up very fast. If you don't have long break, you should go to Yu's. I promise it will be faster than fast food places. Portions are really good size. Staffs are nice, always smiling. Also if you are going to order deep fried dishes for carry out, you would better request sauce on the side. i think people more likely to write a bad reviews. I'm sure they have good reviews more than a bad ones .”

“One of the well know Chicago style restaurants. The Italian beefs and hot dogs are the best items to get on the menu. My favorites dessert is the chocolate cake shake and is a must try if you are going to Portillo’s. They are crowded at most points of the day but they are relatively quick at getting your orders out.”

“Food here was very good. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Breaking Dawn Roll, and Red Dragon roll. Food came out very quickly. Service here is typically slow unfortunately as they seem understaffed. Although we went there for a Saturday at 6:00 PM dinner, it wasn't even half full. I would highly recommend any specialty roll here.”

“Friendly staff and good food, but for goodness sake keep those patio doors closed on cold mornings! I tried to enjoy my breakfast but the freezing cold air turned the dining room into an instant walk-in freezer. Need to find an alternative method to load up the catering vans that doesn’t let cold air into the dining room. Once you figure that out I’ll be back. In the meantime Elly’s or GardenBerry get my breakfast dollars!”

“This place has a few different methods they use, then say subway or any others. My number one go to at this place is the chicken salad. They have 2 different sizes of bread or comes in a folded pita. They toast most of there sandwiches and with that chicken salad. It's all about the hot peppers for me that makes it great. They also recently created a new one that is basically a gyro but will come as a loaded sandwhich as well. This place also has their own homemade like cookies and serve real milkshakes with real ice cream. No flavoring added or soft serve used. Other then that and the out school rustic look of the inside. That is about it for this place.”

But the buffet was actually not bad. The chicken was crispy and fresh. Price was very affordable. Only thing about the food was that the biscuits were little wet from the steam. The Mac cheese were too watery. I don’t eat those. My friend did. But that’s the only complaint I had for my visit. Will come back again!”

The manager Jake was absolutely phenomenal, he took the time to share what attractions there were around and where to get a hot dog after we tried our pizza. “Lunch was very good. Cashew Chicken was solid with just the right amount of spice. Extra chili sauce provided at the table added a kick for those looking for that bit extra. Clearly a hot spot for lunch on a weekday, the restaurant was crowded, but not overly noisy. The service was maybe a little short-handed, so it was by no means a quick meal, but overall, a solid experience. Highly recommend if you want a more upscale lunch experience for under $15.”
