The owner was super nice and helpful along with the rest of the staff. I had my two kids under 6yo with me, they recommended a breaded chicken the meat was not dry and very tender! They loved it! “My Grandma and I went here today for lunch. I give this a five star rating because the food was AMAZING. I ordered a Rise and Shine sandwich and a bowl of bacon and potato soup. The soup was warm and creamy. The only thing that could be changed a bit is the music. Now don’t get me wrong, I love nice chill and calming music, but sometimes once in a while I would prefer pop music. Everything else was PERFECT... except maybe a few more plants would be nice. Will definitely be back :)”

“This place is very good. They season their food very good, very authentic. I’m from Chicago and every since I moved out here it has been very hard to find good authentic ethnic food. In the city they’re pretty much everywhere. This place is better than the places I’ve had shawarma in the city by far. The service was excellent the staff was very friendly and the presentation was what you would expect from a downtown Chicago restaurant. “Their shrimp and grits are to die for. The grits are creamy and buttery with just the right amount of spice from the creole sauce. The shrimp were tender, juicy and extremely flavorful. The sunny side up eggs were fried crispy on the bottom with a soft, warm and runny yoke. If you have a southern relative who cooks this kind of stuff for you all the time, I’m sorry, but this is better. The staff is super friendly and they really made us feel welcome and as if we were at their house.”
