“I have had the nachos and cheese curds so far. I couldn't believe how big the nachos were! The cheese curds were lightly battered and fried to perfection! The portions are huge. The prices are better than the competitors. Not to mention, they are open later than most restaurants in the area which is a huge plus. I am so pleased with my experience I plan on coming back to try the rest of the menu and for future catering orders because they offer catering too! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was so kind and you could tell has a passion for impeccable food quality and service!”

“Our family of 4 ate dinner here last and we will definitely be going back. The inside of the restaurant has a cute vibe. The service is great; everyone is so friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered a couple appetizers and 3 entrees to share. We enjoyed everything but the ribs were AMAZING!!!! Definitely go with the garlic fried rice. The salad went well with all the dishes. I liked that they used real plates, glasses, and utensils. The carry out containers are compostable which we like as well. They have gender neutral bathrooms which is always a plus. Highly recommend.”

“I want to preface this by saying that I think this new location is still getting their feet under them, so I will give them another chance at a later date! I think there is a lot of potential here, and things were only not perfect because they are not used to the volume of orders they're getting here in Grayslake. I think when they get the system down, now that they're trying to be a take-out place, they'll be very good. I honestly felt bad when I went in to order, the workers were obviously harried. They said they were not answering the phone anymore because they were so behind. It was ringing off the hook. They obviously wanted to be doing a good job and were just overwhelmed, so I feel for them. They were still really nice to me even though things were crazy. Had the Fig and Prosciutto sandwich -- there was an enormous amount of fig, but only a little bit of prosciutto and goat cheese. I had to scrape most of the fig off, there was a LOT of it. But the order was correct, and the idea was sound, so I give them credit for that. The bagel chips and dip were fine. I had the tiramisu as well and it was very good! I hope they figure out a system for being a take out place, and maybe hire some more kitchen staff. They are getting enough business here for it to be worth it!”

“Peanuts! Peanuts everywhere! If you have a peanut allergy, you'll probably burst into flames at the door. This is one of the few remaining establishments where they serve peanuts in the shell and you're actually encouraged to throw the shells on the floor. I quite enjoy this, but of course, I don't have a peanut allergy. Their tables also have peanuts in shells embedded in the lacquer. It's pretty cool. What else is pretty cool is their pizza. My partner and I tried their double decker which is two very thin crust together. It was quite unique and I must resemble the cracker type of crust. We got the vegetarian with garlic, which I highly recommend. There's loads of other sandwiches and typical bar-type appetizers. Is an animal lover, the copious amounts of taxidermy was a bit much, but I didn't let it get to me. The food was good. It might be our new go to pizza place in Round Lake.”

“First time here while visiting family in the area. Once again, Trip Advisor reviews sent us to a great find...very unassuming, casual sports bar (proud Packer bar) with a lot of character. Lots of beer and drink options and bigger menu than we expected. I had the steak fajitas which were great and the portion, generous. My husband had their enormous burger and enjoyed it. They offer a food discount for those staying at the nearby Comfort Inn that we didn't know about until they told us. Very nice of them to do so. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and the wait staff very friendly and welcoming. We'll go back when in the area again. Love to support a hometown place like this that's been there for a long time with a great reputation.”

“Placed an online order for pickup and when I got it home I found two hairs pressed into the sliced middle of the sub and there was no bacon. It was either drive back to Subway, or convince myself I'd already found the only hairs in the sandwich and eat it anyway. Guy behind the counter when I picked it up seemed clean enough, so I chose to eat it. It was exactly as good as you'd expect from Subway: decent, nothing mind blowing, tasted exactly like a sandwich. Obviously I could have done without the hairs and I would have liked to get the bacon I paid the extra buck for, but if you're looking for a Subway this is definitely one.”

“Oh my goodness... this little spot is a hidden gem. I was in town on a Business trip and stumbled upon this great little carry out spot. They give you a lovely portion of delicious food. I ate off it for 2 days. It was fresh and hot. The person who waited on us was very knowledgeable and was more than welcome to answer questions I had about items on the menu that I wasn't familiar with. He explained it to a tee and even suggested some dishes that was popular. I wish I had two more hands so I could give then 4 thumbs up!!!!”
