“The coffee is always splendid, really good seasonal foods and drinks, probably the cheapest place to eat on campus (it's about $10 give or take for a bagel, coffee, and one of the other pastries). The line is usually really long around lunch and closer to closing, and they seem to be behind a bit in either drinks or bagel making whenever I go, so it usually takes a while to get your food (totally worth it though!). My only personal beef is that they never put nearly enough cream cheese on my bagel and whenever I ask for extra they don't really put any extra on. Other than that, this is a great place to grab breakfast and lunch!”

“If you're looking for a delicious, and not too expensive restaraunt, you should definitely give Diamond Dave's a try! We've been here twice now and both times we were very happy with our food and service. The margaritas are delicious! I had the tenderloin platter, which is HUGE and very good, my boyfriend had the boneless wings and said they're the best and biggest in town. Honestly they were huge. Our waitress was quick and very friendly and considering it's also a bar, the atmosphere was pretty nice.”

I think the corporate decision to focus on quality of offerings vs. the prior paradigm - getting a free pizza if it didn't arrive in 30 minutes or less - was savvy and well-considered. In my opinion, one of the things missing in our current customer service and marketing environment is the ability to consider things from the customer's perspective. It seems to me like decision-makers actually tried to do that. The people on the ground seem to "get" that - that suggests to me that they're on-board and respect corporate and management decisions. “For the most part this place is straightforward and has tasty food. However they could make a few small changes to execute some of their dishes better. The lip fries are good however the breading comes off the chicken so easily. There's a simple solution. Cut the chicken into smaller pieces like nuggets before you bread them and fry them. That way they can be like nuggets and mix better with the fries. Trust me their trying batter is good enough to make this worthwhile change in execution for dishes like the lip fries and nachos. They could even add lip nuggets to the menu and compete with any chicken nugget on the market because of their batter and sauces. Other than that small thing this place is great.”
