When we asked about it, we were told that was the "standard". Having worked for PH back in college days, I knew that was bogus. As that was not our typical experience, we decided to try it once more. “McAlister's is always good. They have this chain stuff down to a science. We had the Reuben and the turkey Cobb sandwiches. I ordered the turkey Reuben but got the regular one and was already back on the road. Both are great. The only tip I can give is when you come in the side door go all the way to the front and come down the center to form a line.”

Great family eats, with playground for younger children. Kids love the accommodations, parents appreciate the security of the play things. “Went there with my parents, had a great meal, i ate the hot roast beef sandwich with two slices of roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy. I drank an ice tea. Mom had liver and onions, Dad had the smothered pork chop. Very delicious. I've eaten there since i had a job in Bushnell, our boss used to take us there for coffee and breakfast. They also have awesome pie.”
