“I have only gone mid week and always before 9am. Service is always good, food comes out fast and hot. It's really a great value, especially since they offer 2 sides with omelets and skillet entrees (I uploaded pics of their menu). I LOVE their pancakes. I LOVE the fusion of authentic Mexican restaurant food mixed with my favorite aspects of traditional American breakfast fare. I LOVE that they brew their coffee string enough to wake me up.”

“Got to leave a review for this Casey's. I get breakfast from them every single day that I get off work and then sometimes even when I have a day off (i.e. more than I want to admit.) Recently I ordered three pizzas for my workplace. They said they would have my pizza ready and they were ready on time. Something came up at work and I wasn't able to pick up the pizza for an hour. I informed Janet who told me she would try her best to keep the pizza warm. After an hour, I called and they said they would recook the pizzas. I offered to pay for the previous three, but they wouldn't allow it. We got the pizzas as they were coming out of the oven, fresh and delicious. My entire workplace could not believe that a gas station pizza could be that good. The next day, most of them had checked the fridge for leftover pizza, but it didn't even last a full work shift. The entire workforce at Casey's is courteous and friendly, but Janet gets a special shout-out for going above and beyond to help me. I feel that another place might have told me to pound sand and pay for cold pizzas, but not Casey's. Thanks for everything and I'm glad you guys came to Crystal Lake. The pizza here is a hidden gem.”

We called ahead, ran some errands, and easily picked up our food at Cottage On The Go. Food tasted the same (at least from what I remember) as the original location, which was nice to see the consistency. Would've been a 5 stars but one of the guys behind the counter was weirdly / mockingly saying my name like there was some sort of inside joke going on before I walked in between him and the other workers. They seemed embarrassed of him so I couldn't tell if he was just outgoing and being "fun" or if he was being rude and condescending. Either way, the tone wasn't appropriate for the situation.”

“I had been ordering take out from another Chinese restaurant in Crystal for nearly 3 years and in the last year or so the food has not been as consistent in quality. A friend of mine recommended New Peking. I do have to say that I was a bit skeptical because there were a mixed bag of reviews. However, I did notice that recently, the last 3 reviews were very positive. I am on weight watchers & opted for the steamed fish with ginger soy sauce...Very pleased!!! it was very good. I have had this same entree from the other Chinese restaurant & felt that New Peking's was tastier, far less salty & lighter in flavor! An added bonus was that their price was less expensive. I also like that they have several diet friendly options, where as the other restaurant had non listed on their menu...I will definitely be trying some of there other options...So far so good!”

“I've eaten at Finn McCools 50+ times over the past 10 years. It isn't the "trendiest" place, and typically has a very stable menu. And, I really enjoy being a guest there! The staff, waiters, bartenders are all visible, helpful, and engaging, they're not pushy, but rather create a warm inviting experience. Great personnel and TV selections, a solid menu, good selection of beverages, and 1/2 price specials all make this restaurant one of my considerations when I'm dining out.”

“Updated 2019: Changed review from 4 stars to 3. One of the better craft beer selection in the area. Food is pricey and underwhelming. Atmosphere can be loud, the outdoor seating is a nice relief. I enjoy the atmosphere of the dining area, but the bar area seems drab and the dartboards lights are very bright & flashy. It almost feels like two different venues. I love the stage and the upstairs area. Cleanliness leaves something be desired, especially in the bathrooms (see photos). I haven't been here in over a year, but had my phone ready knowing the bathrooms would be unfortunate. Hopefully publicly posting some photos may encourage some attention to it. I really would like to love Dukes, we need good beer establishments. Overall, there are better places in the area, but if you have a friend that insists (or needs to have a big beer selection), it's probably not the worst place you can go. But Duke's isn't on my top 10.”
