“My partner and I had lunch here today. The outside area is nice and we enjoyed listening to the live music. The food was really good and the sweet potato fries were probably some of the best I have ever had. However, the service was awful. We waited almost 20 minutes before our server came to our table, after about three different servers walked passed us a couple times. The place was a little busy, but they seemed to have enough servers working to cover the crowd. I am not sure if there was some miscommunication, but the service should have been better. I would be willing to try it out again as the food and atmosphere was good.”

If you like biscuits and gravy, definitely go there. You can even purchase the sausage gravy by itself so during the week you can make your own biscuits and gravy at home. “Stopped in early Friday evening with my wife and friends. What a great time we had. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. We ordered some drinks and apps (cheese sticks and the tavern dip). Wow, I want to say the best cheese sticks in town, but they are in another league all-together. “My husband and our 2 year old visited the restaurant on a Saturday for lunch. We ordered the guacamole for an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the 2 taco lunch special and my husband had the La Mexicans. Everything was so good and super hot when it came out of the kitchen. The staff was very friendly, I could tell our waiter was learning so it did take a minute when it came to questions being answered. All over we had a good experience and will be returning again.”

I had a steak every time, accompanied by this awesome French potato thing that was like a thinly sliced stacked au gratin potato, made with cream, butter and garlic. Just fabulous! They also have about 100 different types of bourbons. They have flights which contain 3 samples. There are about 10 flights to choose from. The staff is excellent, and you can count on the owner being there and asking you how you dinner was. Always a nice touch. Highly recommend!!”
