First Watch - O'Fallon

We decided to give these guys a try since we hadn't been back since they remodeled and rebranded. It's definitely not IHOP, but we knew that going in. However it's definitely even harder to find traditional breakfast items on their menu. But if you're looking for came free egg whites, turkey sausage, kale and avocado for breakfast, this might be the place for you. On the other hand, the food and service we got wasn't all that great. The black beans were cold - not just cooled off waiting to be served. More like, I'm not sure they were ever heated. My wife's bacon was limp. Her waffle was crispy. And I was never offered or asked if I wanted a refill or second cup of ice coffee. Overall, even if there were more options on the menu that we might try, the poor service would probably keep us from coming back.

Awesome place! Food was fantastic! Service was great. We actually stumbled upon it by accident. I thought it was still the Egg and I. First Watch is even better! The works omelette was outstanding. We will be here many more times for sure!

The staff was very very nice and attentive, we were a party of 5, we waited a long time to get our food, four of us where almost done with our plate before my FIL had his plate delivered.
I got a plate with a chicken like burrito and potatoes, the were raw in one side and burnt on the other, the onion that were suppose to come with them were carbon.

We may re consider our options now that this place changed owner.
I love the people that works there, I feel like at home, but my meal really wasn't pleasant.

Oh man this place is SO DANG GOOD!!! Food is fresh, inside is pretty, great location right off Green Mount. The food, the drinks, the sides, all of it is great! And it’s fresh! You don’t leave there feeling like you shouldn’t have ate that. It’s healthy. Can’t say enough good things about this company

I wish we lived in this area-if we did, we would come to First Watch often! Great customer attention, delicious and unique offerings, and an exceptionally clean and comfortable setting combine to make this a great breakfast spot. We got it to take on the road and we're pleasantly surprised to find eco-friendly packaging!
