The Iron Whisk Bistro & Bar

So happy to have such an amazing and eclectic breakfast/ lunch spot in my hometown. I come quite often and the place is always busy, even on weekdays. I'm never disappointed in the food or service. The Dutch baby's, Benny Bowls and sandwiches are all top notch. Can't wait to go back.

New favorite brunch place! I had the lemon blueberry dutch baby and my husband had the loaded bowl. We tried each others meals, and both were excellent. Perfect portion, great flavor, and nicely presented. It's a small dining area, but very clean and has a farmhouse vibe to it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are reasonable, comparable to what you might pay at Cracker Barrel or Ihop. There was a wait when we came, but it wasn't long and was well worth it. We'll be back soon- I'm dying to try their seasonal apple cider long island iced tea with some other menu items that also looked really good!

Would give 6 stars if possible. 6/5 stars. Delicious food. Excellent prices. Delightful open-air ambience. Friendly service. Worth the wait. Once spent about $100 in San Francisco on food that was 1/2 as amazing. HAH! Hope to swing back here again someday!

Wonderful, fresh and unique menu items in a quaint little upscale diner atmosphere. Don’t get discouraged if you have to wait for a table, it’s worth it! The service is excellent and the food comes out quickly once you’re seated. They do carry-out orders also. I had the chef salad special and it was fresh and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Can’t wait to visit again!

Spontaneous and unique food with a cocktail on the side, if you want. Feels like you’re on a wonderful vacation while dining for brunch right here in our small hometown. The menu has your classics but also, they create new menu choices to change the pace so it stays unique. Highly recommended, wonderful staff. Fantastic to see this in Union County Illinois. Shop, eat local!
