I went today 06/08/2024, the food is always delicious, I always get Chicken Nasi Goreng(Chicken Fried Rice) I have got to say, there is something special about Indonesian fried rice style that sets itself apart from other fried rice out there and its the best 😊 I also got the orange chicken, very delicious also, my brother got the crispy chicken katsu, he says it’s very delicious. We will always come back for more , the owner and staff are always so nice to their customers😇 PS, try the spicy sauce also 😅 wow it is hot!!! but delicious if you dare😂 this place is a real hidden gem in Rockford.”

“I've loved Spider for years, I went from cringing at the idea of raw fish to enjoying multiple rolls of it. The sit down service has always been very good, the food comes out timely and every roll I've tried is great! I don't think it's expensive (it's sushi, hello) and we always get a wonderful meal when we go in. It really is worth going inside and enjoying a casual sit down dinner. The ONLY issue we have ever had is with their takeout services. I now caution people against getting takeout if they can help it. We've never gotten a correct order and getting it fixed can be a bit of a pain. My partner now refuses to do takeout from Spider. The last time we called ahead for takeout we got to the restaurant in the 20 minute time window they gave us and we waited an additional 30 minutes and watched other orders go in and out without anyone really explaining what was taking so long or apologizing for the wait. The chefs were watching a football game and while it's understandable that sometimes humans will be humans (I'm a server and I'm usually really understanding of how working in a restaurant goes), we were so extremely disappointed in how they handled everything that night that we haven't been back since. We are going to go in again tonight and dine in, and I know we'll get great service and food. Just know to check your order if you decide to get takeout and wait to pay until you know it's all correct to avoid any extra hassle. I do hope Spider Sushi is around for a long time, it's definitely a date night staple for many Rockfordians!”

“I went today 3-15-19 and got the deal for 20 bucks . LG pizza 1 topping and wings . Order from DB.all the time. Never been more disappointed in my life . Cheese on pizza all in the center, nothing even close near the crust . Looks and taste like someone threw together with no care what so ever . Not even cooked long enough. Even chintsy on the sauce, cheese, and sausage . Simply sooo disappointed ...normally I love this place and why I'm such a dedicated customer. Scared now to try wings. Maybe a bad day, not sure but also not sure if I'm going to risk going again. ????”
