Storming Crab Rockford IL

If you love seafood then you'll love this place. Hot, fresh, delicious and fast. Waitress was Lay and she was knowledgeable about menu, polite, super helpful because i couldn't decide what i wanted. Photo is my lunch special and is 1/2 order of a regular order of same. Can't wait to take my son next week.

Very impressed. The food was good. Our waiter, Alex, was Very good!! With his laid back approach, he new just how to recommend everything from beer to the heat of the food. The atmosphere is really nice! Really enjoyed our time at this new restaurant!!

Well let me just say, “ya get a lot for what you pay for!” I enjoyed both times I came to this restaurant. I like the service; although this place is new and kinda packed both times I came, the crab bags were excellent! Not to mention, very very clean crab! I can’t say that about these other crab places in Rockford. Also when it is a lot of people lined up at a restaurant constantly, that means they serving up something that is good😋

The only rant I have for this restaurant is that it did not open soon enough! I have been excited to eat here since seeing the sign go up! Food was excellent and our waitress who is from Ohio that was brought in to train was absolutely fabulous. I have been hearing stories of bad service but I believe that this could be due to the rush of people trying to get him to eat and staff being overwhelmed with that. I ate at this location the first night it was open had no issues did not wait not even 60 seconds to be seated no issues with the food. And certainly well worth every penny I spent! Atmosphere was great and the facility was clean. I was actually a bit shocked upon arriving that the inside was decked out so cool, that was completely unexpected considering that the building on the outside is a bit blah. If there are people complaining, I would almost bet dinner on it that they felt that the menu was too expensive and didn’t prepare coming into the facility to spend $100 or more. I ate like a king on honey hundred dollar bill which included the tip! You get what you pay for and it was worth every penny.
