“Sam's Food and Spirits is a staple to Highlander point in Floyds Knobs. IT has been around for 35 years and continues to provide excellent food and service. They recently expanded their outside dining which is a big help during their busy summer months. We love the blackened steak tips as an appetizer. Their southwest salad is amazing. Most everything on the menu is a family favorite. It's hard to go wrong with such a great variety of offerings on their menu. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Overall it was good, but my baked potato was burnt on the outside and it was not fluffy on the inside. My Beef O Brady hamburger was good in my friends shrimp meal, some of the shrimp were hard to eat. The atmosphere was quiet we ain't there about 1:30. The service was on top to take care of us”

“The pizza was great. The service- not so much. Our server would not make eye contact and asked how we were doing while passing our table as if we were an afterthought. They were not busy- our server had one other table besides ours. I have never felt the need to review a place based on its poor service, but this is the exception. It got to the point where her dismissal became insulting. I was very much given the impression that it was an issue that we are a gay couple, based on her completely different attitude towards everyone else. I am not going to call our server out by name, but I will say that I was offended and upset by our treatment, especially given that we were very polite and inoffensive the entire time. I hope that she was just having a bad day, because I imagine that anyone else who has been treated in the same manner as we were by this server will not be returning. I know we won't be going back for any reason. The pizza was really very good though.”

“Food was good! The drink machine ran out of ice and was out of a lot flavors. When we were sitting at the table eating, a manager (I'm assuming) was walking around asking if everything was good. I let him know the issues we ran into and he fixed the issues immediately! A lot if the tables seemed unclean, but otherwise great experience.”

“Been to this location many times. Visited 7/14/18 and had Conner as our waiter! Wonderful service and Conner was one of the best waiters we’ve had! Visit on 5/11/19, FREEZING COLD in the dining area, waited 45 minutes for our food. Service was lacking. Food finally came. My onion straws were soggy and kids meal was missing part of it.”
