O'Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

We've never had a bad meal here. We've come as a couple, with family, with children, with friends; for a quick bite, dinner, lunch and even drinks. The service is usually fast with little to no wait for a table and hot rolls and drinks brought out pretty quick. The menu is varied enough that there is something for everyone but not too large as to create a WHAT SHOULD I GET panic. They have a good selection of salads to satisfy the wife and burgers/sandwiches for lunch or the kids. For me, I'll take the honey drizzled chicken with broccoli and sweet potato mash every day. Juicy chicken, perfect veg and mashed potatoes (sweet) and all for 760 calories.

Bonus 1: Sit in the bar (21+ only) if you can. The bartender is top notch and very attentive. Food service is just as quick, table seating is quick if on a busy night (mostly families).

Bonus 2: Ask for Denisha. She's our favorite. Remembers her customers, keeps the drinks topped off, extremely attentive AND friendly. Always takes time to chat but have never seen her tables wait for anything.

Got the New Orleans Chicken pasta and sweet potato fries. Food was good. Great price. Sat at the and the bartender was really nice and sweet. Service was quick. Restaurant was clean. Servers that weren’t on the clock were kinda loud in another section but it seemed like they were having a good time. I’m not trying to knock that.

Went there for lunch yesterday with a larger group of family and friends. The waitress asked if I wanted the lunch menu then just handed me a regular menu after I said yes. I asked her if you could actually order off their lunch menu on Sunday and was assured that I could. My friend and I decided to order the bottomless rolls, salad and soup. I was then informed that it was not offered on Sunday even though she had just told me I could order the lunch menu. We ended up getting ribs and chicken fingers to share and I was the informed that you can no longer get soup or salad with your meal. I was extremely disappointed but to top it off the ribs were bland and the chicken was dry. We had a party of 17 people and only 1 server so needless to say service was less than ideal. Overall it was not my best experience with Ocharleys. You had a good restaurant at one time but the new changes really stink.

We went at about 2:30 in the afternoon which was great because there were hardly any other customers. Our waitress was prompt and kind and followed with our drink order very quickly. It wasn't s very long wait and then our food arrived and was as we had ordered. We each had different salads and they were all very good. Probably about the best part of our meal, though, were the hot rolls. Oh my! They are so unhealthy, but boy, are they good. We would absolutely return here again for a meal.
