Oasis Diner

Food was great but they didn't have the bun for the steak and cheese and wouldn't accommodate for us so that lost a star... waitresses are young and not very good at keeping the place clean so that's also loss of another star... still the food was VERY good so I recommend trying them

Stumpled upon this gem while working in Plainfield. This place has history and its been restored. The service was great. Food was great too. I was seated immediately. I didn't have to wait too long for freshly made food either. I highly recommend this place if you want to step back in time and have a good meal too.

Very pleasant waitress. Seating is comfortable. Good is tremendous. This is what a diner should be. This is the real deal. It isn't fake trying to be nostalgic -- they are still doing it like this is the 50's. My wife had the tenderloin sandwich. It was HUGE! CRISPY, perfect. I had the San Francisco avocado toast. This was opposite the boring food I was expecting... (I'm trying to lose weight) it was delicious. The toast had a avocado spread with scrambled eggs an "fire roasted" tomatoes on top. I'll definitely be back. It also was very reasonably priced.

Its like stepping back in time. Virtually everything inside the front of the diner is original. The rootbeer is absolutely the best that i have ever tasted. Its hand crafted in Avon Indiana. The tenderloin was as big as my face. So good.

We love The Oasis!!! We try to visit there at least once a week for breakfast on Sunday mornings!!! Tim is a great cook and we always ask for Mary as our server!!! Love the diner food and all the choices!!! The Indianapolis is my favorite and the chicken fingers are amazing!!! When we have company come to town we bring them here to show off “our” diner!!! And great soda to!!! You definitely will walk away full and satisfied!!!
