“Opening day at Batar in Seymour, Indiana. This is the first time I've visited and I immediately fell in love with the place. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and an overall enjoyable time. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Cell phones must remain on silent while visiting which is a huge plus. The atmosphere overall is quiet, calm and peaceful. Can't wait to go back in May when all the flowers will be in full bloom. For lunch today, I ordered the sampler. "Chicken Salad, Pasta Salad, Fresh Fruit, and Cream Cheese Spread."”

“This place is really great. It's a fixture in Seymour (my fiance grew up here), and it's easy to see why. Simple, well-prepared grill fair, friendly and quick service, and an old-school diner vibe. You can still even get a flavored soda (chocolate coke is pretty great). Stop in and grab a burger or a tenderloin. You will not be sad you did!”

“We have always been treated well by the people behind the windows, the kids have been fun most the time. The food generally is very good. The only drink they have to learn to be fairly consistent with is their flavored coffees. We eat at McDonald's often and will continue to patronize Brownstown McDonald's”
