“The food is one of best "Fastfood" eateries in Anderson, IN. I am originally from Western Indiana and traveled a lot, plus lived in various states of the USA. I work hard for my money, and like "good food," my wife is a Chef and my Son. So food has got to be good to us coming back_ I gave it 4 stars, and not 5 because the exterior looks UNKEMPT. For a long time I just would not even think about eating there because of the ugly exterior Only! Now I would venture boldly and testify: "Looks are not everything-try the food, its good eats!" “This Taco Bell is not bad, given its proximity to the college it offers a decent place to go and eat cheaply if your a student. Thats the best thing about it though, well that and their lemonade drinks are pretty solid. Sometimes it can get busy and in those instances its best to either practice patience or consider going elsewhere.”

“Road side diner from a bygone time and quality you just don't see anymore. Don't think there was a single menu item above 10$. The lemon milkshake is a must try but any of them were phenomenal. “A great place to go and chill, if your a student from the college it lies within walking distance (just in case you want to try walking off some calories before you go). Dairy Queen is easily within driving distance and offers a decent location to go to when its suffocatingly warm outside. Given its proximity to scatterfield it can become a little congested at times but its worth it for the ice cream!”

“Walked in placed order. Wait was not long. Several people came to pick up their orders and had to wait. No one was up front at the counter. Children were sleeping on a couch behind the counter but the adults were in the kitchen area. My food was ok. My egg rolls were not bad. No oil or grease dripping from them or old oil flavor. Pan fried dumplings were plump and cooked well. The entrée was not bad. I had the Kung Po Beef. Prices are not bad. I don't stop often but from time to time.”

“If you like small town family owned restaurants and grilled food, Leroy's Place is an excellent choice. I had the bacon double cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever ate. My eyes were bigger than my stomach as a single would have easily filled me up. Their burgers are bigger than the bun and well worth the price. The employees were very friendly and I am looking forward to trying the breaded tenderloin on my next visit. If you're planning to visit Elwood and love hamburgers , Leroy's is the place!”

“No one was at the door to greet you. Empty tables with a wait to get seated. Nothing impressive on the menu. About your average menu for the area. Prices are a little much for serving size. No hot sauces on the tables. Getting the food took longer than expected. One person asked if I was only having my drink and the chips since they saw me sitting there with nothing else for a while. It is new so I will wait for a month or so and if they are still open I'll try again. I really like Mexican food. I have eaten food in Mexico. This did not so much remind me of that. 4/9/2019. This visit I had to wait a while to be seated. Did not look busy. Had to wait a while for the chips and salsa. And had to wait even longer to order. Was totally unimpressed with the tacos. Still find it odd not to have salsa for my food. May wait another few months to come back. Guess I shouldn't expect authentic Mexican food.”

“Had to wait in line for a while. Usually the wait is much less as it was in the evening. Order went together fairly quickly even with the sandwich being toasted. Ordered an Ultimate Spicy Italian with extra meat. Could have stood more cheese and garlic flavor. But still tasty. Restaurant was clean in the food assembly area as well as dining area. Will order another of these sandwiches with more cheese.”

“Update greatly improved. Mostly have hot new ready. No longer see drug use or deals. Customer service is good now. I'll switch to 5 stars and delete lower part if it continues. Used to be a 1 star because you can read below. Run out of everything. Staff smells of weed all the time. Young manager I have caught several times blazing in car with other young people. Very slow usually not even started call in when arrived. Out of items regularly. Nothing is ever hot n ready. Staff is rude. If willing to wait forever for whatever they have it does usually taste good.”
