“Out late with friends trying to find a bit to eat. Looked at menu while at front door and decided to go in. When arrived, seated self and seemed like a cool place. Music wasn't to loud (getting older), not to many people, nice bar area, pool tables and fun for people ready to party. We were just there for food. As we stayed longer noticed more people, louder music and young folks ready to have fun (don't judge me). Also had a dance floor that we hadn't seen. Got the sampler platter that was good. The chicken fingers were really good. Real chicken. Someone had the firecracker fries that were delicious. Thank goodness we left before it got to crowded. Oh.....I liked the diversity of brown people and white people. Cool.”

“I have been wanting to check this place out for a long time! Plus the yelp event made me want to go even more! Today I finally made the effort to head over and eat. So glad I did! Everything about it was great. The location is just fun, there is a couple of different entrances and you can seat yourself, I decided to sit on the bar side, it was quieter and I was able to take in everything. I’m not sure what this used to be, but my hat is off to the designer of the space. The service is awesome! Attentive, but not stifling. I love bloody Mary’s, and try to have one to every place I go. The corner has a build your own Bloody Mary bar! You get a cup of ice with vodka, but then you get to take over from there, the mix is very fresh, but you can add hot sauce and all the fixings! It was amazing! Brunch food is some of the best food, I had the smoked salmon on toast with a poached egg. Can’t wait to go back and have more delicious food!”

“A smaller Garden Table than the big one downtown, it has a nice active atmosphere on a Sunday around noon for brunch. You order at the counter. A delicious special as well as the staple breakfast burrito were enough to make my wife and I very happy. Coffee was delicious (we are a fan of well-made cappuccinos). Service was very fast. “This is probably my favorite place to get brunch with friends. There is an intimate atmosphere, and the food is excellent. I usually get an omelette. What kind really varies. I have never had bad service there. In fact, we were those people that stayed until closing last time I was in (I always feel bad being that person because I know it can be challenging to a servers patience) and the people who work there continued to do an excellent job down to the last moment.”

“Mixed feeling right now. I know it is Devour Indy, but service was rough. Very long wait for food. Was at the bar for over 2 and a half hours. Saw some people leave after sitting at table for 20 minutes and not seeing server. I had to flag down someone every time I needed something. The bartender was very nice and enjoyed chit chat... But he was the only one making drinks...for a very busy place. Maybe add a bartender to help? On the flip side, the food was very good. The drinks were good. When I go back, I am sure it will be worked out... I hope.”

“Quiet. Intellectual. I got the Diablo grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious! Behind me tomes of interesting literature. I brushed up on my SAT grammar, and then I found a book called Cosmic Consciousness. It was fascinating. So much so that I decided I really wanted to take it with me. If you discover a book that you want to take with you, you only have to pay $3! That was awesome, especially because on Amazon, that book was going for much, much more. It's a great copy too. It almost looks new. A very pleasant experience.”

“We went here as a group of 5 for dinner, no reservation. We found the venue through Happy Cow as we have vegan and meat eaters in the group and wanted to cater for everyone. The wait staff were really friendly, happy to explain the beer selection to us. The food was wonderful! We had burgers, seitan tenders, fish and chips and vegan pizza. The portions are really generous, the food is freshly cooked and all really tasty. The venue has parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. Was a great old-style pub feel, would absolutely come back and highly recommend.”

“This was truly great food. My wife and I both had the fried chicken dinner. It is served family style and it is great! You will be tempted to fill up on the salad course. There are plenty of delicious options. Also, the potato soup is fantastic. But, save room for the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. And, just when you don't think you can eat any more, they serve vanilla ice cream with a choice of three toppings that you serve yourself. Plus, it was only $22 per person. We will be back. Next time we will bring the family with us.”
