“Nice place for small or large groups. Tables can be easily combined for large groups. Wait staff was great. Had an appetizer of pizza stuffed bread sticks, which was very tasty. Three puff pastries stuffed with pepperoni and cheese, each about the size of a Hot Pocket. Lots of empty tables on a Wednesday night. They also have an outdoor seating area that will open when weather allows.”

“The food is great and I enjoy the Black Cherry soda the most. I look forward to moving into the area and visit more often. One downside is with each visit it is the same lady that speaks so softly. I have to ask her to repeat what she said at least five times in just ordering the meal. “Great place to have a nice dinner out. My husband and I rarely go out to eat because he eats out while travelling for work, but when we do this is one of our favorites. They're food is always delicious. We especially love the calamari appetizer and any of their dishes with the braised short rib. It's often busy, so be prepared to wait a bit or make a reservation. Either way, grab a glass of wine while you wait and enjoy each other's company.”

“It's hard to have a bad experience at McAlister's. They're very consistent. I ordered a Horseradish Roast Beef and Cheddar and it was exactly what I expected. Bread was toasted perfectly, and the roast beef and cheddar were solid as always, and the Horseradish didn't overpower the sandwich. Only took about 10 minutes total from the time I walked in.”

“We eat at Athens each visit to the St. Vincent's area. Excellent, fresh authentic Greek cuisine and restaurant. The staff for the most part are native to Greece although I am sure there are a few exceptions. It is a very charming restaurant. Daily specials and very traditional Greek Restaurant menu. We love the food and are frequent visitors when in the area. Had lunch there today and went with the pita bread, grill chicken wrap. Excellent with a few fries and a salad. Just enough of a portion for lunch.”

“This is more grocery store than restaurant but it has a few tables and some food selections at the end of the meat counter. They have tacos although I've not tried them and a few plate meals served with rice and beans. The plate meals I've tried were excellent. I like spicy, and these were. Not your chain store TexMex but only a very limited selection. Not a place for a destination dinner, but a place I'll go back to regularly for lunch, and maybe an occasional dinner when I'm on my own because the family has other plans. Spanish is everyone's first language, but they go out of their way to help me in English.”
