“Hotcakes Emporium is and has been the go to Breakfast & Lunch location in the 86th & Ditch Road Area of Indianapolis for years. Specials each day for both breakfast and lunch. Always an innovative menu with new twists. The owner is present on site and is heavily vested in his business. Today I had the Breakfast Burrito with Avocado and my much better half Elie had an Avocado Omelet, hotcakes with pecans and hash browns. (We actually took the hotcakes home very large breakfast). Very innovative and tasty menu items. Very large portions and great coffee. I had a question about my bill and the owner addressed and adjusted it while kindly teaching and coaching his server on using the adding machine etc. Very human and helpful staff, good table service and when she did not have the answer she asked and returned with an answer. Top restaurant in the area, top owner management, excellent menu as well as honest and forthright! Can't be beat especially nowadays. A MUST GO TO AREA RESTAURANT! Non”

“Excellent quality sushi and great service. The rolls here tend to be a bit larger than less expensive places, which is overall a good thing, but order appropriately. My wife and I normally destroy 5-6 sushi rolls, sometimes more, but we took home leftovers in a box.”

“They still have the best rotisserie chicken to me hands down. So I will always love that! As long as they don't change the recipe. This particular day they had buy a family meal and get a free rotisserie chicken so I took advantage of that. On the downside they upcharge for the creamed spinach which I understand is likely their best seller but that is not cool.”

The service was excellent, they made sure we knew all of our options and asked about other items they offered. They took very good care of our toddler which is a huge plus to us. The quality isn't your typical breakfast diner; it's above and beyond that. I had the Irish omelette, which was huge and delicious, and an apple pancake for the table. “Arrived around 5:15 on Saturday with another couple to sample their Devour Indy Specials. We were greeted and seated promptly; the staff were quick and friendly, and the food very good for the price (soup, salad, surf & turf entree and dessert for two was only $34.99!). It’s family friendly, non-smoking, and the decor and music made us smile (Oldies music and decor). The ONLY negative (which was minor) was the mashed potatoes being plated too early and arriving only luke-warm. Definitely a place well visit again.”

“Great Place For a Celebration! Lance was awesome - We were there for a celebration and he made it a party! This was our first time to dine at Mimi Blue Meatballs, and Lance was great to show us how things worked and make suggestions from the menu. We had members of our party who had special dietary needs, and Lance helped us navigate all of that and helped us order things in a way that was friendly for meeting those needs. I would return anyway, but I will definitely request Lance in the future when we do come!”
